BAND
6th, 7th & 8th Grade
All students may participate in Band. 15 minutes or more of daily practice outside of school is expected to keep up with the pace of the class. Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone & Mallets are the various instruments offered in Band.
ORCHESTRA & STRINGS
6th, 7th & 8th Grade
All students may participate in Strings. 15 minutes or more of daily practice outside of school is expected to keep up with the pace of the class. Violin, Viola, Cello & String Bass are the various instruments offered in Orchestra / Strings.
GENERAL MUSIC/MUSICAL THEATER
6th, 7th & 8th Grade
All students may participate in Music. Any student not choosing an instrument will continue to receive instruction in general music.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION (PE)
6th, 7th & 8th Grade
Students participate in both traditional and non-traditional sports and fitness programs with an emphasis on increasing personal fitness levels, athletic skills, and health concepts.
ART
6th, 7th & 8th Grade
Students will focus on the elements of art: line, texture, color, form, and shape. From these, they will develop creative thinking skills across the curriculum. Emphasis will be placed on two and three-dimensional drawing skills, cutting, pasting, folding, sketching, printmaking, and clay construction.
